Yippee.... Long awaited event of the year at RCMS - Dinner & Dance 2006. This year's theme was "Shanghai Tan". Thanks to 6yrs ago (if I can remember correctly) GongXi Raya. I found my baju raya. Well, ok, it's Vietnamese style actually. But who cares! At least I have the chinese buttons to match the what-else-can-I-wear-except-Cheongsam theme. And of course, most importantly, not to spend a single cent. Had so much fun that night! As Cinderella I am, I left exactly at the stroke of midnight. Anyway, I took lots of pictures for your viewing and here are some of them. Enjoy peeps...... Fifi getting ready for action 6 RCMS finalists: Elly, Andrea, Fizah, Rehana, Ice & Widya Sunday, 27 Aug Went for brunch at Parata Paradise at 800+. All hubby & me have to say is... 10/10. Wonderful Puri & Tosai! Really should try. For a person who has never liked mutton curry, the one at the restaurant was superb. The first time we were around that area for brunch. Only reason was, we wanted to find a new tv console at the furniture shop there. Woohoo.... I loike the colour. Nothing fancy, but enough to make me happy. Yippee... thanks hubby! Also, got myself a new green & white Le Coq Sportif bag. It's meant to be 'baby' bag-hubby can't stand this excuse I make everytime I wanted to buy a new bag. Hahaha.... I guess most mothers will do the same thing. And as promised, met Din at the Lorong Halus temple area. Din accompanied us to Driver's Corner at Simon Road to have my newer car seat skin fixed. Yeayy.... now it looks perfect. Hhmm, seems like a major splurge day. Okay, I shall stop spending this month. Only at 7pm, when all were ready, we made our way to Habibe Restaurant. Been a long time since I last ate Tom Yam. We left at 9pm I think. Saturday Another karaoke session. Din, Jas, Mamak & Siti came at 7pm. Followed by Nora & Shah. Sue & Hafiz were a little late. Made my all time speciality - Mushroom spaghetti. We sang through out the evening. Had so much fun!! I felt so honoured that everybody was comfortable & made themselves felt like home. Thanks peeps for the friendship & unity.

Singapore road? Sadly to say, after 6yrs of driving, I only know confidently how to get to city hall-Ritz Carlton area I m
ean. Hehehe..... Malas ar nak hunt through Singapore roads for places. Or probably its high time for me to explore. Kesian Din, from Jurong had to come around Lorong Halus to fetch this clumsy driver. Waited at a narrow road along a temple. Gosh, there were so many gigantic lorries passing that area. I had no other way but to push my way through a little backyard of the nearby temple to wait safely. And so we went to Simon Road to have our Brembo cover fixed. We reached at 3pm only to realize how tough it is to fix those things. Guess what? They took 5 hours to do 2 cars. Dah tinggal nak nangis jek sey me and Din. But all in all, I did this to surprise hubby. He was begging me to get it fixed but I refused. Secretly I went to have it done. And of course, he was so pleased! Anyway Din, thank you so much for your patience and really sorry for any inconvenience for going to the car shop with a clumsy driver like me. Jangan serik eh......

Friday, 11 Aug Just outside Science Centre Wednesday, 9 Aug The wives & 1 daughter The hubbys Look at the crowd behind. It was congested with humans all along the coast of Marina South. When the fireworks was on, the crowd got even more-just inches only from each other. Majulah Singapura Alamak, camne leh terbalik lak view Beautiful Sunset (ignore my Doink face pls) And yes, the final moment - the Fireworks (super skejap and small)
Hehe.... Hubby & me were on leave. Even then, we left house just the same timing like any other working days. Swirling around Jervois Rd at 8am to find High Comm. Luckily it was a smooth process and left the place at 10am. We had to send Big Bird first at Pandan then proceed to Science Ctr. Nothing much I must say. The Deep Sea at OmniMax only made me giddy. But anyway, we had fun.

Initially, wanted to meet up at Boon Keng at 12pm. At 1pm pon still finalizing. Then at last minute Ibu & Ayah pon nak ikut so we all took Big Bird to Fort Rd. There was road block. Only residents are allowed to enter the vicinity. Since the rest were already at Boon Keng, we joined them there. But the traffic jam was so extreme that we decided to try Marina South. If this too failed, we'll just go home I think.

A sinful thing me and Lin always do before going to class - Old Chang Kee's sardine epok2!! Kelly cutting her Palpalova. And we finally found out that she is only 26yrs old. Classmates - and a few missing after a few days of lessons. Candid shot courtesy of Lin UUWWAA...... I'm really gonna miss class and the new friends I made.
Our English teacher, Ms Kelly's official last day. Eventhough our class will not end until the coming Thursday. So we had a more relaxing class session. She brought some Australian food to class. Obligingly, Me and Lin ate her Vermite sandwich. I nearly gag out the little piece I had in my mouth. It tasted so weird. As Kelly was watching, I had to wash it down with the Mineral Water I had with me. Next, she brought a flat Fruit Meringue which she called Palpalova, or whatever it was. Though I don't naturally have 'sweet tooth', I did enjoy it more than the Vermite thingy. Then after, we took pictures for reminisce. I'm sure going to miss going to classes.
